TAKE ACTION to ensure OLDER ADULTS CAN CONTINUE THEIR ADVOCACY WORK

Budget cuts are threatening many programs that allow older adults to age in place and be engaged in their community. SBSS AGEnts for Change are older adults who work to combat these budget deficits by actively going out in the community to inform government officials and community leaders about issues that effect older adults.

“Becoming an AGEnt for Change is interesting, stimulating and above all else useful to the senior community. It makes me feel safe and provides me comfort knowing that I have access to the various city & county municipalities and elected officials who make decisions that affect me.
— Phillip White, SBSS AGEnt for Change
